In restorative yoga, props are used to support the body so that poses can be held for longer, allowing the body to open through gentle stretching. Reiki and Tibetan sound bowls will be utilized to enhance relaxation and deep healing.
Benefits of Restorative Yoga
It engages our Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS), which takes the body into the “rest and digest” state.
Restorative poses enhance flexibility, nourish fertility, balance our hormonal activity and lymphatic system and aid our immune and digestive systems as well.
Reduces stress
By allowing our bodies to come into a complete state of relaxation space is created for emotional healing.
